Nathan Hewitt, SNOWBOARD
Nate has been riding since late 2008. What started out as just a hobby riding at Tamworth Snowdome soon progressed into a new career choice. Nine months after he first touched a snowboard Nate took and passed his BASI Lvl 1.
Since then Nate quit his career in IT and changed to the CASI instructor programme. Whilst away taking his level 2 Nate unfortunately broke some ribs, however this didn’t put him off and in fact he succeeded in scoring the highest level 2 pass mark in his year as well as passing the Freestyle Level 1.
Nate currently works at Castleford SNO!Zone coaching the Freestyle Academy session, he also helps run our monthly freestyle courses at Castleford SNO!Zone, you could also see him on some of our Mayrhofen courses.
Although Nate started his snowboarding quite late on, what he’s achieved in the short time he’s been snowboarding is exceptional, he has a relaxed and friendly attitude, and his passion for the sport really does comes across to the groups he teaches.
Nate aims to continue this progression by looking to take his CASI Level 3.

He is well respected with Full CRB checks, child safety and Outdoor first aid qualifications.
